Branar are delighted to announce that thanks to the generous support of The Arts Coucil touring grant and the Venues on the Strollers network we will be bringing the beautiful Mise scéal cailín on a national tour.

Sometimes small things happen, and they are small things, but in our head they grow into huge problems.
This is the story of a little girl that can’t sleep because a small thing happened and then the cloud that won’t leave her.

With beautiful puppetry, live music and animation Branar tell this simple magical and moving story of the night the girl couldn’t get to sleep and the adventure she had trying.
Mise, Scéal cailín is supported by the Arts Council and Foras na Gaeilge and is produced in association with Draíocht and The Strollers Network of Venues.

Branar has had the pleasure of working with Espen Dekko of Dekkoart theatre Norway as artistic consultant.

This Autumn with the generous support of the Arts council touring grant Branar will begin a tour of The Strollers Touring Network nationwide on the 21st of September. We are also very excited to be performing 8 shows in Baboro. We will play at Roola Boola, Stcky fingers, and The Dublin international puppet Fesitval with Mise Scéal cailín also.
